Let's talk Movies: White House Down vs. Olympus Has Fallen
I usually do not like when 2 movies of very similar subject nature come out at the same time. Especially when both have a super hot man as the main character. I was excited to watch both White House Down and Olympus Has Fallen. OK, so first I saw Olympus Has Fallen. Aaron Eckhart is the president and Gerard Butler is the hero. This is like a super action packed, serious movie. Gerard Butler is bad ass! This is a no nonsense movie. I would give it 11 out of 10 stars. White House Down, Jaime Foxx is the president and Channing Tatum is the hero. While this movie is serious there are some pretty hilarious moments. No hilarious moments in Olympus Has Fallen. I mean, look at Gerard Butler, do you see him cracking jokes as he is saving the world? Jaime Foxx and his Jordan's! Priceless. I would give this movie a 9 out of 10. yes, I love Channing Tatum but Olympus Has Fallen was just, well, better.

Dark Creations by Jennifer & Christopher Martucci
I read this book a few weeks ago. A really cool thing is that it is written by a husband and wife duo. It is a YA sci fi/romance story. Melissa is a pretty normal teen. She keeps to herself since there are some not so nice kids at her school. Then enters Gabriel. He is the picture of perfection. Handsome, smart, strong, kind, caring...However, he was created not to have feelings. He was created to be the perfect specimen of a human being. He is not supposed to have the capacity to love or care or develop any sort of emotions. What happens when his maker finds out about this flaw? Like every mad scientist he goes to the extreme. Everyone must be killed. Overall, this is a really good read. This particular book I read had book 1& 2 together. I'm not sure how many books are in this series. I will not be reading the rest any time soon. I have too many other books that I have to read first. Gabriel makes the book boyfriend list. Is there ever a Gabriel that doesn't?

Sins & Needles by Karina Halle
Over the weekend I read Sins & Needles by Karina Halle. She is one of my all time favorite authors. If you have even peeked at my blog you most likely have seen a post regarding the Experiment in Terror (EIT) Series. Actually, I was hesitant about starting this series by her. I love Dex and Perry, Derry LOL, so much that I did not know if I could make room in my heart for another couple. Thankfully, this story is totally different than EIT. I really enjoyed Sins & Needles. The only down side???? I thought the next book was out already but it isn't. You know how impatient I am when it comes to waiting for books. :) OK, back to the book. It is about Ellie, Camden and Javier. They have issues. Major issues. Like soap opera, mob boss, criminal action issues. It was awesome! At times I was practically yelling at the computer screen (yeah, I was reading it on the computer lol) telling Ellie "Don't do it!" The story keeps you going. Of course I was rooting for Camden but at times I was not sure if that was a good thing or not. Camden makes the book boyfriend list. Javier should really make the list too but I have a hard time putting him there because he is threatening my happiness! hehhehe Maybe with Shooting Scars he will make the book boyfriend list or On Every Street.

Let's Talk Makeup Chit Chat Part 2
L'Oreal Visible Lift Blush
I got these on sale, they were buy 1, get 1 50% off and I had a $2 coupon on top of that. I think they are almost $10 each. Kandee Johnson loved these. The color on the left is Coral and on the right is Rose Gold. Since rose gold is in I figured, hey, why not. I'm not a fan of these. They seem to be cream powder. The color is so light you cant even see it when you put it on. You have to really buff that color on. To get the color on the swatch above I rubbed my finger in the blush 3 time! I would not recommend these.
CONCEALERS
1. Maybeline Age Rewind for under eyes. I love this one. I use it almost every day. Really brightens the eye area and doesn't look cakey. I think it's like $8. They have a foundation too, I haven't' tried it yet. Have to use up some stuff first.
2. + 3. L'Oreal true match concealer crayon. I got a light and dark one for contouring. I barely use the dark one, because I really don't need to contour for everyday life. The light color is really good to cover blemishes on the face or sun spots or freckles. It lasts all day long! It is about $8.
4. Maybeline dream lumi in radiant. This is a peach colored concealer. It is supposed to be a "dupe" for the Georgio Armani corrector. I did like this a lot when I first got it but I don't reach for it as much since I started using the Maybeline age rewind one.
5. Sonya Kashuck concealer palette from Target, $10. This is OK. Everyone on YouTube raved about this but I think it's just OK. It does come with 3 colors and a powder to set it with. I barely reach for this. I would use it more on face rather than on delicate under eye skin.
UPDATE ON REVLON COLORSTAY WHIPPED
I know when I wrote about this about a month ago I was not too impressed with this. I really did not have high expectations for this since I hated the Revlon Photo ready HD one. BUT I must admit when I'm wrong and boy was I wrong with this one. This is an AMAZING product. I have been using it almost the entire month. It is easy to blend with your skin, looks natural, lasts ALL DAY. I mean ALL DAY. Even through an hour at CrossFit this sucker stays on your face. Even after running 3 miles this will stay on. I use it more than my MAC pro long wear makeup. I am really enjoying this one. Like the MAC pro long wear it does not rub off easily when you touch your face. You don't want your makeup to leave a mark everywhere you touch. It is supposed to be natural...like you don't even have make up on lol. I am very impressed with this one!
