Let's Talk About: Vacation!

I just came back from vacation in Florida. While there we visited with Rey's family, my sister, went to Harry Potter World and checked out a wedding venue. It was a rather productive vacation. We stayed for 9 nights. To be honest, after 7 nights we were ready to come home. It is not that we had a bad time, it was great, super hot and humid, enjoying our time with family and in the pool- it's just we missed Wybie, our bed, Em's xbox, cable! LOL I watched the season finale of True Blood on my phone on the edge of a dock. That was nice but I could not get the full effect of the episode on my tiny phone screen. I went to Universal Studios with my sis, her bf and my aunt. The best part was Harry Potter World. I did not care for the Transformers ride. We got stuck on the Mummy ride-this used to be our fav ride since that is one of my fav movies of all time! We checked out a wedding venue that we loved and probably will use.I even tried on 2 wedding dresses!

True Blood Season 1/ Dead Until Dark

After True Blood started back up this past season (season 6) I decided I needed to read the books. I was not happy at all with Bill's behavior. You see, I'm a sucker for the classic romance. I liked Bill from Day 1 (reminds me of Edward....) but these past 2 seasons he has really been making me angry.  I need to know whats going on. I started wondering....hmmm, if the series is based on the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris then if I read them all maybe I'll know whats to come on True Blood. Smart idea huh? Yeah, well, the series is 13 books long! So I am doing a mixture of audiobooks/ebooks and rewatching the seasons past. I will read/listen to one book then rewatch that season and compare the 2. Here goes for Season 1 and the first book, Dead Until Dark. (well, this one might be short because I cant find my notes, grrr)

• Tara in not in book 1, hence no momma issues, no hooking up with Sam
• Jason isn't addicted to V, hence he and the vegan chick didn't kidnap the vampire dude and chain him in the basement
• Bill didn't create Jessica (yet?)
• Lafayette isn't a V dealer/prostitute/or involved with online porn doings
• Sookie is a virgin until she meets Bill, I am not sure if it is that obvious in True Blood as it is in the book

What have I been up to???

Well, I know I haven't written in a while. I have not been reading as much lately. Instead, I have been watching shows: Under the Dome, Dexter, Ray Donovan and True Blood. Yeah, pretty busy lol. I just decided to start listening to the Sookie Stackhouse books on audio. I just want to know what is going on in the show. I'm not sure if the show follows the books exactly but, hey, it is worth the try. Also, right now in the show I'm soooo hating Bill, big time. Now, it is the beginning on the audio books and I'm starting to fall in love with him again. UGH! Billith better redeem himself. OK, I'll write more soon. Just wanted to check in. :)
