Book Review: Euphoria by Erin Noelle

Well folks, it is 1:01 in the morning as I write this. I finished Euphoria about 10 minutes ago. I was reading in bed but I had to get out of bed, get tissue, get my laptop and go to the living room so I wouldn't wake up Mr. Jazzy's Notebook with my uncontrollable sobbing! I'm SOOOO not exaggerating. I cried and cried and cried-think The Notebook full on sobbing. Nicholas Sparks has nothing on Erin Noelle! I have not cried this much over a book in a loooonnnggg time! I need to start an ugly cry label to start to keep track!

What can I say about this book. This is the 3rd book in the Book Boyfriend Series. I don't want to give anything away. You just need to read this series. I know I have a whole brain full of words but really my brain is malfunctioning. My heart is broken. The thing with this book is that even when you are happy you are sad. Love is such a beautiful thing. Loving and accepting someone for who they are is amazing. Letting them go even when it hurts you so that they can be happy... Being there for someone even if it just as a friend while your heart is breaking...I mean really Erin! You just gutted me. I was thinking of John Legend's "All of Me" as a possible wedding song but now I only think of Ash.

As much as I was Team Ash there is no way I can choose between Ash and Mase. At some parts throughout the book I just thought, damn it, they should just all move in together and she should not have to choose between the two! That kind of love is something! That Mason! I'm so proud of him and he is just so amazing. Ash! UGH! It is great to see how everyone has evolved from the first book and how they have matured.

The morning after reading this book Mr. Jazzy's Notebook takes one look at me and asks: "Are you ok? Did you sleep? Have you been crying?"  My answer: "YOU HAVE NO IDEA! lol Think of my reaction to the Notebook."

No favorite quotes today or teaser pictures yet. Once I'm over the hangover I will work on those to share with you all.

Book Review: Ambrosia by Erin Noelle

I just finished this one. Let me tell you, I have it bad. Someone dear to me said that different types of alcohol gives you a different type of buzz. Beer, wine, vodka...I feel the same way about books. There are the happily ever afters, there are the cliffhangers, there are the ones that end and you are just like WTF! WHYYY! (insert Igniting the Wild Sparks by Ren Alexander), there are the ones that pull your heart strings and make you torn... How can I love 2 book boyfriends in 1 book? Granted this is the Book Boyfriend Series! Erin Noelle has captured the emotions that a reader feels-angst, love, heartbreak, confusion-and has inserted them into her books. Think of some of your favorite books and authors and some of your favorite book boyfriends. This book has them all! LOL You will not be disappointed with this series. I have to say, this review is not doing it justice AT ALL! I'm rushing because I need to start book 3 as soon as I'm done writing this review. I just needed to stop and share with you all.

By the way, I am still team Ash. But I love Mason too. I even have love for Max.

At the beginning of each chapter there are songs to go along with the mood. This one stuck with me.

5 stars! And forget book boyfriends, we have book husbands here!

Book Review: Metamorphosis by Erin Noelle

OHH EMMM GEEE!!! I have had about 3 hours of sleep. I stayed up all night reading this book. I haven't done that in a while. I literally could not put it down! My friend gifted me this book because she thought I would love it and boy was she right!

Scarlett has led an extremely sheltered life. Her parents were so controlling that she has not had many normal teenage experiences. She is going off to college with her super awesome bff and is about to embark on a self exploration journey. What she doesn't realize it will be much more than she ever expected. Life, love, happiness, loss, desire...she is about to discover a whole new world.

Let me say that if you are a reader and a lover of book boyfriends you will absolutely LOVE this book. In our minds when we read we are the leading ladies. We fall in love with all these fictional men and we have all the emotions, stress and love that we read about. We have book hangovers where a book has touched you and you can't move on from it. We share this love with our friends who understand. THIS IS WHAT THE BOOK IS ABOUT!!! How freaking cool is that! I mean I love it for this aspect hands down. Evie, the BFF reminds me of one of my friends! I couldn't help but think of her while reading. You know what that means? Of course I had to gift her the book at 6:45 am lol!

But wait.... there's more...

Notice how I'm ranting and haven't even mentioned the guys yet! Oh, there is the frat boy, the GQ pretty boy and the rocker boy! Pretty much from the beginning, I was Team Ash. Call me a sucker! But let me tell you...that Mason!! Oh he is giving Ash a run for his money! I'm 55 percent Team Ash and 45 percent Team Mason. Oh book boyfriend problems!

5 stars for me for sure!

Here is the reading order. I went ahead and #1clicked the last book thinking it was the 2nd and read the prologue and OH MY BLEEDING HEART LOL!

Metamorphosis
Ambrosia
Euphoria
Timeless

I haven't made teasers yet. I need to focus on finishing the next 3 books like yesterday!

IgnitingTeaserPerfectMomentReview
Well, where the heck do I start with this one? I read this book over a week ago by the time you are reading this. I STILL HAVE A HANGOVER! Sorry, shouty caps were necessary. OK, back to Igniting. I love this series. This is the 3rd installment. It does not disappoint-well at least not in the way where you feel you wasted your time. It turns you into a crazy author stalker and that may be a tad bit weird lol. I love, love, love Finn and Hadley. Did I say I love them? I will apologize right now for the in-coherency of this review. I'm still emotional from this book! Just so you can understand the extent of my emotions for this series, here are the links to my reviews for Daring the Wild Sparks and Chasing the Wild Sparks.
5 stars from me!

Hadley wants to marry Finn. Finn doesn't want to get married. Can they reach a happy medium or is this the breaking point for them? Is Hadley willing to give up her dreams to keep her soul mate? Is Finn willing to go against his beliefs to make Hadley happy?
Is or isn't Ren Alexander writing about my life! LOL!

On the other hand, Finn has tolerated Hadley’s stubbornness long enough and he’s reaching his breaking point. Fearing at 33 that she will soon be too old to have kids, Hadley wants Finn to change his mind and marry her, yet her insecurities about his public life and from his constant rebuffs have her questioning her aspirations. With conflicting advice from her friends, Hadley concludes she should take things into her own hands. But then again, Finn Wilder has his own story to tell.

20 Fun Facts About Ren Alexander

1. My favorite ice cream is chocolate/peanut butter, but I don’t do the kind with the cups in it. 2. The smell of peaches, cucumbers, and Easter lilies make me viciously gag. Watermelon, banana, and peach candy flavors are GROSS. 4. I LOVE lighthouses! 5. I’m a huge history buff. I could watch the History Channel all day when they’re showing actual shows about history. 6. If someone wants to know who sings what, my friends ask me from 50′s music and on. 16. I LOVE to laugh, but hate my laugh. Hmm… 17. I love plaid! Book Review: Stirred Up 2 by Angela Graham & S.E. Hall

Well, well, well...Where do I begin? Really, I won't say much because I don't want to give anything away. You need to have read Stirred Up 1 in order to truly understand what is going on here. These are short novellas. Boy do they deliver! As you already know, S.E. Hall is one of my favorite authors of all time. I have not read anything by Angela Graham yet other than these 2 novellas. But I will now!!!

Ok, what should I tell you? Addi is torn.
Brady, Dr. Reynolds and Addi...
What is going on?
Short and spicy read.
Don't want to give away any secrets. (Like Victoria, channeling my inner Sawyer...)
Let's just say when I got to the end of this one I slapped my mouth and had to message the author!
I thought I totally missed something...
Did I?

Book Review: Finally Home by Ann Vaughn 5 STARS!

OMG. OK. I just finished Finally Home. I need an alcoholic beverage and its only 3pm right now. Firstly, anything Ann Vaughn writes is guaranteed to be freakin awesome. Or your money back. GUARANTEED. Out of all the guys, I thought Riley was my favorite. Really, I can have no favorites now. I love all the boys-ahem, I mean men. You can't help but love them all. Before I get ahead of myself let me tell you what the book is about. Mike Casiano-Italian, strong silent type, been through hell and back, selfless, has the self control of Jesus, determination like a bull chasing a red flag and a heart of gold. His nickname is the Commander and boy does it fit him perfectly. There is no way you can not love him. He was a Navy SEAL, was a POW and tortured beyond belief. Any Sherrilyn Kenyon fans in the house? He reminds me a bit of Acheron-except Acheron's suffering was for many years and Mike for 12 hours. Acheron is a freakin God and poor Mike is just a man.  Still, your heart will bleed for him. I haven't even started on Lainey! What a great match for "Mike. Freaking. Casiano."

This review might not be coherent as I'm still a blubbering mess over this book. Talk about book hangover at it's finest!

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

  • You're the one who sent a card to Riley addressed to Malibu Ken." Colt laughed and even Mike had to chuckle at that one.
  • Call Colt up here. He was our medic." Her eyes narrowed. "Why didn't you say that in the first place?" "You were so insistent on playing Florence Nightingale, who was I to stop you?" he said, deadpan.
  • Everything about the huge space was masculine and sleek, tasteful yet Spartan...she decided it suited Mike to a T.

  • "It's fine. I've faced down Al Qaeda, right? I think I can handle one pissed off little blonde."
  • "Consequences for disobedience will be immediate and severe." (A line from Mr. Anthony Rawlings if I do say so myself!)
  • "If I tell you I'm going to do something, then I'm going to do it. Don't question me when I've already given you the answer, capisce?" (Capisce! made me giggle!)
  • "You didn't notice Nick's hair?" "Um, was a little  preoccupied by the fact that he had your face," she grumbled. (No kidding! My thoughts exactly!)
  • "You caroused?" Jenna asked Riley with a raised brow. "I was in my mid-twenties and a badass SEAL. Hell, yeah, I caroused," he replied...
  • Riley walked up then, Colt and Coop just behind him. Lainey took just a moment to admire how they had recognized that their Commander was in a confrontation and they all came to stand behind him. (I love them all damn it! Sticking up for Mike. AHHH My poor heart!)
  • Devil's Lair?" AM MADDEN ( I LOVE when authors do that! When they give a shout out to another awesome book!)
  • Fine...but this would be a lot easier if you were with me and not hovering behind me like Kevin Costner."
  • "Dio," he swore, then because he couldn't help it, wrapped his arm around her head and rested his chin on the top of her head. "I don't know if you're an angel or the devil."

  • Not a quote but: OMG Mike teasing the stalker #priceless! #avengingangel #iceman
  • "He's just Mike." (MAGIC MIKE LOL)

I did go a little hashtag crazy with this one. Here are some of my favorites:

#MagicMike

5 stars! All of the guys are book boyfriends, book husbands and favorites of all time!
